Maestro is a new web-based social music platform that provides you with free streaming access to your entire music collection, from any web browser anywhere and anytime, plus the ability to listen to playlists and songs from music lovers everywhere.
Maestro was initially created by a bunch of music fans who realized their personal music experiences were just not matching their blossoming connected lifestyles. We saw the issues as listeners, knew something was missing, and decided to do something about it. We created Maestro with the simple goal of bringing people and their music back together again. Maestro is designed to fill a void for music lovers everywhere, to construct a connected music platform that's built to extend the use of music into your lifestyle.
We believe in your right to enjoy listening to music, both music you own and music you hear about from others, no matter where you are or what devices you use. We also believe that music artists can utilize online music communities such as this to reach out to fans and connect with them more directly then ever before. The combination of the two is the online music community called Maestro.
Interact with music, both yours and that of others, and expand your experience. The new DJ of today is really the online music listener, and their “voice” is not being heard, nor are their wants and desires being met by the music marketplace today.
Through this playlist-based music discovery engine, and the added capability of remotely accessing and managing your entire music collection, Maestro revives the lost connection between people and their music. Give it a try and see for yourself.

Maestro.fm is an online music communitywhere playlists become social and you're the DJ.
Listen to all your music online from anywhere, anytime without bringing your laptop, CDs or iPod with you. Social music discovery Share playlists with anyone, see what your friends are listening to and whose listening to you. Discover and listen to new playlists with all sorts of new music. Embed your favorite playlists in your Facebook or MySpace profiles, blogs, websites, etc. View recommendations to the music you are listening to such as lyrics, artist bios, reviews, news, photos and videos. |

Daniel D. Escobar CTO; Co-Founder
Originally from Colombia, South America, Daniel is a programming whiz and one of Maestro's full-time geniuses. Four years ago, Daniel's unique ability to see the world in binary code led to the creation of a program designed to allow him manage his extensive music collection around his house and connect to it through his phone. After years of improvement and Daniel's concentrated brainpower, his initial program morphed into the technology that drives Maestro. Daniel currently manages the design and development of all Maestro technology. Daniel received his B.S. in Computer Science and Information Systems and has been designing and developing software applications including Internet applications, content management solutions, and digital media applications for over 13 years. One of Daniel's specialties is understanding how all content works and how to provide the user with a more efficient and secure content management solution. In his effort to push the envelope of Content Management software, he founded Aquiva, an innovative Enterprise Content Management software company that was designed to provide media companies a more robust and flexible solution than Vignette, Interwoven and Documentum, while seamlessly integrating advanced networking and mobile technology. These original concepts drive much of the proprietary systems developed by Maestro. Daniel also built Cox Radio's first Web Content Management (WCM) system, which is shared by over 80 radio stations. This first-of-its-kind project was successfully deployed in 2001 and still in use today seamlessly integrating Cox's WCM systems with its Internet needs. Daniel has provided IT consulting services to several national and international businesses and developed numerous software systems using multiple programming languages, which involve networking with UNIX, Linux and Windows machines. In his spare time, Daniel is a competitive racquetball player who has won the Costa Rican National amateur racquetball championship twice and was sponsored by Wilson for many years.
